Once again my office had a lunch meeting and I was in charge of ordering and picking up lunch bentos from the nearby Japanese restaurant. The daily special bento was not the most enticing, so we ordered the chicken teriyaki bento. Not sure why, but this one was not as good as the beef teriyaki or the other daily special bentos.
Chicken Teriyaki Bento
with seaweed salad, bean sprouts, rice and agedashi tofu.

When one of the registered lunch guests did not attend, I was able to bring home the extra bento for my husband. This was extremely fortuitous, since he had been so busy at work that he didn't take a break for lunch.
