Balkan Grill is a small, predominately take-out joint on North Kings Highway near the Huntington Metro Station. Every time we thought of going there on the weekend, it was already closed for the day. Finally, we managed to head over before closing to try out the burgers and burek.
Spinach Burek $5.00
There is a choice of fillings, either beef, cheese, spinach, potato or zucchini.
Bosnia Burger (Pljeskavica) $6.95
Adana Burger $6.95
Burger mixed with chilies and onions.

It's a small shop, adjoining a European market. The burgers are served on a homemade bread that I liked. When the burgers are fully loaded with the raw onions, green peppers, tomato and sour cream, they are a belly bomb. The burgers are large, thin patties, cooked well-done. It was good to try something new, although the husband remains partial to Kabob Palace when he's in the mood for grilled meats.
