One of the best parts of traveling around Japan is seeing all the different types of omiyage, or specialty gifts, each area offers. Whether its manju from Kyoto, Castera from Nagasaki, mikans from Ehime, or special onsen water powders, it's a culturally-ingrained custom to bring back something for the people you left behind during your travels. When my boss headed back to Japan for a quick trip, he brought back one of my favorite airport omiyage.
Fresh Ramen Gift Set from Narita Airport.
Package of fresh ramen noodles, pickled ginger and tonkotsu soup base.
Yasai-Tappuri Tonkotsu Ramen
Sauteed snowpeas, bok choy and cabbage with an egg and scallions topped the ramen noodles and tonkotsu soup.
